An Appeal

We are honoured to associate ourselves with Prayas JAC Society, a national level humanitarian, gender sensitive, Child focused and development organization operating 241 centers including 11 Homes for children across the country in 09 States/UTs and directly serving about 50,000 beneficiaries, marginalized children and over 15,000 youth and women. We are aware, Prayas is addressing the multiple issues and running, day to day community-based programs relating to child protection and juvenile justice, trafficking of working and exploited children and women, vocational and  life skills training, empowerment of women through Self-Help Groups and Income Generation Programmes, promotion of entrepreneurship, facilitating credit through bank linkages and also direct micro finance operations. The organization is envisioned to restore the lost childhood of neglected, destitute and underprivileged children and to support the marginalized youth and women of the areas where it operates.

Being acutely conscious that a service-driven organization like Prayas needs plenty of resources to run its activities, it is being planned to organize charity events like a Ghazal and Sufi music night to mesmerize all with the velvet voice of singers like Talat Aziz, Anoop Jalota and other eminent singers. Prayas is inviting celebrities, government officials, diplomats and supporters from across the country.

The charity events like these will offer opportunities to the individuals who are willing to support. The fund raised through these event will be entirely utilized for the Children at Prayas centres and for providing education to those deprived and out of school, who have the inherent skills to develop but they lack resources. We can never succeed in our efforts of bringing about the change in the lives of these divine children - whom we also prefer to call “the Children of lesser God”, without your support, contribution and, most importantly, your presence and participation.

Please join us to promote this great cause.
